Biography

I studied VFX and animation on the Nextgen Level 3 course at Nescot where they covered the basic software used in the industry such as Nuke, Maya and even some adobe software like After Effects. After this I was lucky enough to be accepted onto the Apprenticeship and working with DNEG. During my time at DNEG I was doing prep work and really enjoyed it and hope to carry on my career in it. I learnt skills such as roto, dust-busting and marker removal whilst I was there, It was an unforgettable experience and I got to learn so many things from my mentors around me. At college my teacher has been carrying on my learning so my skills aren't behind. and I'm constantly improving and learning new things. I hope to finish my apprenticeship with another company and carry on my learning afterwards.

Paul Scott, Artist Manager at DNEG

"I have worked with Chloe for just under a year as her manager during her recent
apprenticeship placement with us. She fit into the team wonderfully from the outset, and was very hard working which allowed her to build up her VFX skills at pace. Chloe is a focused individual and commits herself to work with intention. I believe her to be competent when creating roto, and she was making inroads into prep when we
unfortunately had to let her go whilst downsizing due to the pandemic. I highly recommend her as an apprentice and believe she has the skills and mindset to succeed in the VFX industry long term."
